One of the things I will probably never understand about men.. why are they so damn attracted to blondes? I have nothing against blondes.. in fact one of my best friends is a NATURAL blonde. But what other attribute makes men's heads spin in such a way? Seriously... a girl could have 10 pounds of makeup on, and her hair could be fake to the max, and a guy would probably still think she was hott.. all because that blondeness makes him stupid.
I was recently in a room with four grown men (30+) and two blondes. I've never seen guys act more ridiculously flirtacious in a professional setting in my life. It was disgusting. Which brings me to another point. What is it with older men hitting on younger women? NEWSFLASH: UNLESS YOU ARE GEORGE CLOONEY, WE'RE NOT INTERESTED. Yet, they keep on pushing, with their relentless pick up lines and touchy-feeliness. Seriously? I know the age of the couger is in full effect, but in my opinion that only applies to older women and younger men. I'm just not attracted to balding spots and beer bellies. Sorry if that makes me "superficial", but I'm not going to please your ego by flirting back with you if I'm definately not interested.

here's a hint: blondes tend to be easy. men get all excited when easy girls are around. no offense to the good blondes out there!!
ReplyDeleteThat's crazy about the older dudes hitting on the younger chicks, but somehow I guess I can't say that I'm surprised. Some guys just don't know when to quit.
ReplyDeleteAs for blondes, I wouldn't take it personally. I think the eye is naturally drawn to blondes the soonest, it's one of the first thing I notice when I walk into a room. Not every blonde by default is the prettiest though, it just depends on the situation.
I don't know about other guys but I can't stand it when women pile on too much makeup. Honestly most women look the most beautiful without makeup on and that's the true definition of beauty if you ask me.
Natural beauty is the way to be--less is more with makeup, but alot of women don't seem to understand the concept.
Anyways no worries about where life is headed I am trying to figure out where mine is headed too and I can definitely sympathize with you, you kind of just have to keep reassuring yourself that everything is gonna be okay. Worrying will do nothing but raise your blood pressure.

I agree with you on this. I am a natural blonde and I get frustrated with the stereotypes surrounding dumb blondes. But I will say that I have felt the flirting from guys that you talk about. Sometimes I just see their eyes light up. It's really weird. I do have one amendment to your post though--George Clooney OR Tony Shalhoub ;)
